Chevy K. Chen is a native Californian, who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently lives in Los Angeles. Before film and television, Chevy studied to be a percussionist and jazz drummer, but recognized his other passion in life; storytelling. He was accepted into the University of Southern California’s school of Cinematic Arts program and emphasized in cinematography and post production sound. After USC, he freelanced and ran an after school production program in Inglewood, CA where he taught basic and post production to children ages 7 to 15.

In 2009, Chevy’s first producing credit was on the full feature documentary, JEALOUS OF THE BIRDS (JOTB), directed by fellow USC alumni, Jordan Bahat. It was accepted at the Sheffield Doc/Fest, Doc NYC, and Rhode Island film festival, winning Best Original Score at Rhode Island. After JOTB, he continued to work with Bahat in various music videos and productions. In 2011, Chevy joined Master Key (MK) Productions as a visual effects producer and assisted on shows COVERT AFFAIRS, JUSTIFIED, OFF THE MAP, and SUITS. His ambitions to produce were continued at MK, where he headed the production department and specialized in Foreign Unit Shoots for MARVELS AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D, COVERT AFFAIRS, 12 MONKEYS, ROYAL PAINS, and HEROS REBORN.

Serving as Senior Vice President at MK 2013-2015, Chevy produced film and television in over 35 countries for them.

In 2015, Chevy co-founded FIREGLORY Pictures with Christine Guenther to specialize in International Unit Production Service and original developments that emphasize bold, international viable content, with diversity in front and behind the camera. In 2019, Chevy produced Kiss Me Kosher (Kiss Me Before It Blows Up) – a romantic comedy, The Most Fearless – a feature documentary, and co-produced the feature drama Home.

Chevy is a member of the Producer Guild of America since 2012 and recipient of the PGA’s Mentorship program in 2016. He serves on the International Committee, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and New Media council.

Christine Guenther shares her time between Los Angeles and Berlin.

Before venturing into film and television, Christine studied American literature and linguistics, political sciences, and communication at the University of Bamberg. Following a short period as a creative producer, primarily focused on commercials, she shifted gears to physical production in independent films and high-end series. In her role as a Production Manager and Line Producer, she navigated projects across over 20+ countries, from the rugged landscapes of active war zones in Afghanistan to the complexities of production in China.

Christine has produced European segments of high-quality drama series such as Killing Eve, The Flight Attendant, Counterpart, alongside contributing to acclaimed documentary series including such as Joe Berlinger’s Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial, Liz Garbus’ Emmy-nominated The Fourth Estate, Netflix’ Abstract The Art Of Design and Ugly Delicious.

In 2015 Christine co-founded her production company FIREGLORY Pictures with Chevy K. Chen. The producing team has since then specialized on internationally viable productions with a strong emphasis on crossover storytelling that bridges the Atlantic and sparks flames in minds and hearts.

Operating from branches in both Berlin and Los Angeles, FIREGLORY Pictures has co-produced coming of age drama 1/1 by Jeremy Phillips and feature doc Cassette by Zack Taylor which both have been released in the U.S. and Germany.

Christine produced Kiss Me Kosher (Kiss Me Before It Blows Up) – a very romantic Middle Eastern culture clash comedy directed by Shirel Peleg, The Most Fearless – an empowering feature documentary about Bangladesh’s first female surfer directed by Heather Kessinger, and coproduced the feature drama Home, directed by Franka Potente, starring Jake McLaughlin and Kathy Bates.

In 2023, Christine Guenther and Chevy Chen spearheaded the formation of the alliance „groundcontrol_“ uniting with international partners to establish a network of state-of-the-art production service companies tailored for high-end productions.

Christine teaches guest lectures on Producing, Production Management, and Leadership at the Film University of Babelsberg, the MET Film School, and the Erich Pommer Institute in Berlin. She also gives masterclasses on Regenerative Leadership, Mental Health in the Industry and Sustainable Approaches to Producing at various industry events.

She is an active member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and serves on its International Committee.

Nicola is a German/Filipina born in Hong Kong and raised (mostly) in Singapore. Gripped by story-telling from a young age, Nicola has worked in production and development around stages and with theatre companies across London, Edinburgh, Singapore and Manila. Developing a deep passion for literary development and new writing for the stage, Nicola began to specialize in dramaturgical work, and subsequently went on to gain her Masters in Theatre & Dramaturgy from the University of Edinburgh in 2015. There, she was thrust into the world of new writing and the Fringe, developing work with writers and dramatists, facilitating new writing programs, as well as reading for literary awards and dramatic competitions.

Now based in Berlin, Nicola has since worked as a story editor and and in development for feature films and TV projects with both independent production companies and screenwriters alike before joining the FIREGLORY campfire for creators. In addition to her work as Development Producer for FIREGLORY, Nicola is engaged as Development Executive for the European iterations of The Writers Lab.
